Head in the Stars is a visionary work by Sarah Lubcke. It is inspired by her own reminder to self- to keep the mind on expansive, wondrous and life bringing thinking even if the things on earth are feeling a bit crazy at times. 
 
Painted in oils and acrylic, the work features the female gaze which has become her favourite subject to paint united with her trademark neon and pastel colour combinations. The symbolisms that flow in this piece have also been a feature in many of her signature works. The beret is a nod to Sarah's love for French culture and desires to visit France again.
