Sarah Lubcke

ABOUT THE ARTIST

Sarah Lubcke is a painter and illustrator that knows no limitations when it comes to colour. Through her vivid and distinct compositions and love of portraiture, she re-imagines what is known and seen and combines with elements of that which is not. Driven by her own child-like curiosities and love of mysteries, all her paintings have messages and meanings beyond the surface. Through viewing her work it is her hope that one will be uplifted and encounter the wonders of life and that which is beyond.

Sarah has a Bachelor of Visual Arts from the University of South Australia, specialising in painting and a Cert IV in design. She also has many years of experience in fashion styling and make up. Sarah has previously volunteered her time teaching art to patients at the Sydney Children's Hospital.

Sarah resides in Adelaide with her husband and 4 y.o twin daughters whom inspire her with their own child like wonder.

They also welcomed their third daughter in July 2021.
